Looks like a old style SRS, not a DRS.

yep old style SRS , it's what I run on my SX trail (with a bit of modification)

depends , they came in different backplate sizes , Ive got the smaller one and run a 36T . I'd centre your chainring over it and adjust the guides first to check.

Not without hacking it in half. You need room at the top for the front mech to clear. You'll also need a DRS stepped roller and plastic widgety bit to go on the outside.
