can someone help plse , an inexperienced bike builder.. i have a shimano xt rear mech which i have taken off my orange p7 ,which i want to put on my cove handjob frame.....
im not sure how to attach it, do i need a different dropper or something... i know this is probably a stupid question, but im not sure and would appreciate some advice

i have tried to copy and paste the pic onto here but it wont allow me i can email the picture of the rear end of the frame and the xt to anyon e who would be goood enough to help....
, any advice would be greatly appreciated

Make sure the adjuster [B screw] sits on top of the hanger & isn't trapped

i still cant remove the dropper , help!!! i can email a picture if anyone can help...?
below is the response i got from spokecycles which i have tried to remove but cant see how... thanks
i have tried to remove the silver bolt witj a 5mm but it doesnt release...

* response - Ah, I see what has happened.

Your orange has replaceable dropouts- this is the big black thing that you've just removed with 2 bolts, and the mech itself is attatched to this.

"there's a silver bolt on your rear mech that takes a 5mm allen key. You need to undo this- it'll seperate the bit from your frame and the mech itself. You can then use this bolt to mount it to your new frame.

On this picture, the bolt is the big one directly above the "X" in XT. This is what you need to undo.*
