Hi,
I'm just trying to finuish doing the air can service on my push'd Float R '07 shock. I've noticed that on the end of the air sleeve where there is the wiper seal, the gap to put the seals is not equal all the way round (I guess it's to make it easier to put the air seal in). But I'm having trouble putting the final dust wiper in, as the gap is too narrow at one point.
Any ideas?
Thanks!!
There are some good u tube vids from fox for servicing thier standard air cans might be worth a look. maybe just taco the wiper seal (bend into pringles type shapeand try to fit it into the narrow bit first?
good luck
on a few shocks I've done the section the seal sits in has actually split slightly, the Gap should be the same all the way around presuming your talking about the seal that sits in the guide behind the dust seal in the air can itself, have a carefull look at the base of the lip and see if it looks cracked
