I took the horrible pump bracket off my Cervelo yesterday only to discover that I crossed the thread when I put it on for the Marmotte.
Anyway, it looks like I have ruined the first half of the thread, but there is about half left. Any ideas on what I can do (I don't have a set of taps/dies (?))
I guess I'll be off the the LBS with it for them to tell me the bad news. I guess worst case is sent it off for a new bottle boss to be fitted.

If its a rivnut and they usually are its an easyish job to replace them
just ask the mods to delete the posts on the relevant threads and start again..
