Might sound like a fairly dumb ans silly question, but I'm trying to find a helmet that works best with the Exposure Joystick and mounting bracket. At the moment I have a Fox helmet and can't get the light to shine at the desired angle because of the position and size of the vents. Also the bracket won't tighten properly because of the shape of the shell.
Any suggestions other than "try some on" would be appreciated. My local shop only sells specialized ones.
Cheers.
I have a fox lid and mount mine on the very top vent in the middle, no problems with it there...You can ge longer bolts to fit funny shaped helmets, perhaps try that before you change lid? a few quid as an experiment!
this may be of some help?

The closest vent I have to central looks a fair bit further back to central to me. Can't remember the exact fox model of mine. Its an all mountain style looking one if that helps.
11 days is the wait
I found the Urge Endur-O-Matic worked spot on
S-works 2d is perfect for it.
Giro Xar is a good fit
BTW that was one of my criteria for a new helmet too!
bell avanti works well.
Works well on my Xar but not so good on the Hex
The new lezyne one is also less than half the price of the exposure one. ๐
I use a Fox Flux and run my Joystick on the central (rear) vent - works well.
Giro Hex with a counter sunk hole drilled in the top most section, works well.
Yeah, what b r said. I didn't put it very well did I...
Giro are spot on, both my XAR & Feature both fit it well..
