Not on here mate.
'75 was indeed a fine vintage. Instinctively I know you can be trusted with my kids.

Hi

I just joined my first bike forum
Which one?
yes I'm local to those places.
Hi Pook is there much good riding round here, currently Oughtibridge side.
Can't find a lot of the trails other than the main fire roads in the wood
I have come across a fair few riders on the Pennine way up to Langsett but heard there were a lot of good trails round here.
Hi to everyone else ,Seems like a friendly place.
Welcome.
Seems like a friendly place
give it time...
Welcome though! What's your opinion on sudocrem application?
Hope you can find someone to hook up with for a ride and show you the area. Lacking a car I've only been down your neck of the woods a couple of times but the Langsett loop was good for a quick blast and we're waiting for the weather/ground to get better before I'm introduced to the joys of Cut Gate
Welcome along philxx1975, im fairly new too. Check out some of the old threads for a great read, getting out the friendzone is a goodun, as is hora's new frame.

Another one...?
There are loads of tracks up there; it's the heart of mountain biking in Sheffield really and has been the focal point of trail development in the area over the past couple of years thanks to RideSheffield (google them).
It's Steve Peat's stomping ground, and you'll often bump into him moseying about. You'll always see other riders up there too, and being Yorkshire, they'll happily show you where the trails are.
From Grenoside you've got Wharncliffe and Greno woods at your disposal, including the excellent Steel City DH track - plus loads of nice little trails in the woods that a local would happily show you.
I'm more than happy to show you at some point - email in profile :o)
Welcome...unless you drive an Audi or ride an Orange.
i would join another forum
Right just introducing myself (didnt want to start new thread) as new member,(not 1st bike forum) im sure i will be bugging you all with questions soon enough and getting shot down in flames and receiving the customary interwiz forum responses. I look forward to the flaming
Just don't call your bike a steed, it reminds me of something Napoleon Dynamite would say...
i would not refer to my bike after an avengers character, no mater how dapper the bike was
My bike sure is Purdy.
