sorry I lost my R/C signal, thank goodness it landed on the skids, I thought it would be lodged in a tree. I'll send my man to retrieve it now ๐Ÿ˜‰

Not bad at all, I've only found old inner tubes and energy bar wrappers, I'm jealous now.

I do. It's only a car, and if there's nowt else to lean it on, then a car'll do fine.

It's not everyday you find an old chopper. They left it in a field, so well worth a lean. Don't worry I use plugs. I was just praying my wheels didn't explode.

Gaddafi! Maps, 70s style aviators, kitbag. It all adds up. Not far from prince Charles, maybe he's putting him up. I'll keep an eye out.

I would have had to know who / why / how / where.

I would have camped out until the owner came back and then looked like a knob asking them questions. ๐Ÿ™‚

Are there any expensive looking isolated houses nearby that could belong to very rich people?

IIRC you don't need a key to start a helicopter (one of our offshore pilots was telling us).

But then if you run that much seatpost you'd probably find the piolot seat uncomfortable...

Gloucestershire. I am partial to a bit of seatpost. The seats looked seriously uncomfortable.

Ahhhhhh I love helicopters! No way I wouldn't have tried to balance it on the handlebars and ride it home.

The owner of Britten-Norman (a plane manufacturer) has a Westland Scout like that. I don't imagine there are many other owners!

You would look sad if someone had abandoned you in the middle of a wet field!

Actually I would say it was more of a "worried" look.
