Firstly apologies about the very droll nature of this thread. I'm afraid it will be free from rants about front mechs and overcharging or people call Dave.

That said its of dire importance nonetheless ..... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Over the coming weeks I'm going to be stripping and rebuilding three bikes.

Rather than anally tape every surface I plan on just taping the usual areas.

I've tried the pre cut patches but the ones I've used have yellowed with time.

The only tape I've used is the Posh bikes stuff.

Any recomendations before I buy more of the same.

Next up ...... Alloy vs steel mech limiter screws.

I have been doing a bit of research into this and have concluded that this is the stuff to buy http://www.biketart.com/42/biketape.aspx

If folk have a cheaper/better alternative I would like to know of it!

I think you've mixed up Droll for Dull.
Droll: curious or unusual in a way that provokes dry amusement.

Plus one for Invisiframe. Lee has just done my Spicy Team and did a brilliant job.I have fitted the stuff from Bike Tart to my 5 Spot but Invisiframe is in a different league.

I've always used the stuff from this guy:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3M-8671HS-Helicopter-Protection-Tape-4-x-1-yard-/290500585782?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Other_Vehicle_Parts_Accessories_ET&hash=item43a32f2936

It's never yellowed and it sticks properly. I use it on the car roof where the roof rack sits as well and it does the job perfectly.

If you talk to Lee he will sort you out. When I ordered my Spicy they didn't have a kit and Lee said to bring it down so he could design and fit one.By the time the bike arrived he had already sorted one. It's stress free - no more screwed up tape thrown on the floor when it goes wrong. BTW it,s a lot less visible than photo's on his website,in fact nearly invisible ๐Ÿ˜‰
