Just completed this on the basis of keeping the budget reasonably constrained.....

1. frame off classifieds
2. recycle whatever from my old Giant XTC
3. classified bits and bobs
4. only new things are cheap bar and chain from CRC
5. selling some stuff on here as well

Rides great and will be upgraded as and when stuff wears/brakes. Cue lost of "that's under forked", "decking needs jet washed" etc 😆

Thanks to all that sold to me and bought from me.....

Im 15.5 and Im running the Float R at 190. Revelations are set at factory recommendation and Im running everything in "mid" settings more or less, as I get used to "Heather"

Its a fantastic bike that replaced my Blur.

I did something similar but bought a new 2010 frame & transferred all the bits from my '05 enduro. Have to say the heckler is bloody brilliant.

"that's under forked"
When they first came out they sent them out with Fox Float 140 QR to WhatMountainBike etc
Tora's at 130mm are only 1-2mm shorter, with the same sag % on both the fox would run slightly shorter than the tora. So its not underforked really ..

Bar the pedals I quite like it
I reckon either Wellgo V8 copies for £12ish(new) or Shimano M520's for £20ish to match
What are the tyres though?

Interesting comment about the Toras!

I've got some spd pedals somewhere - they'll do the job. Tyres are some no name Chinese ones that came off my old bike. Surprisingly reasonable. I run tubeless on my other bike so when I upgrade the rims I'll invest in some ust maxxis.

As I said budget was minimal so these things can be upgraded as and when!
