Crusty snow with a bit of new powder all the way round, virtually no ice - like riding on hard smooth sand up Claife Heights and like being off piste going down Hodge Close - a truly great day in the Lakes.

Looks ace a cracking route, not much snow though or not as much as I thought there'd be.
Taken from the big hill at the top of the first pic. A glorious day, but it was reckoned to be -15C in the wind on the summit.
