Don't know if you've seen this... but...

Some friends of mine run an online mag called WideOpen. It's free to download from their website and it's good stuff. If you haven't seen it, take a look.....

All the best,
Nouveau

Just downloaded it, not read it yet, but i looks really good and well produced. Do they take all the pics themselves? If so then good on them they're well taken.

I like the website as well, it's got a nice fresh overall look. Normally I'm a right picky bastard but not much to pick holes in so far.

I've not clicked the link, but can you just confirm that's it's not porn?

Depends how you feel about pictures of ugly gurning blokes on bikes I suppose. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Good magazine though, it gives some of the big names a run for their money.

Not porn unfortunately, but the name is a bit ambiguous!

Oldgit, that's right. And you read it via a new-fangled contraption called the Internet. ๐Ÿ™‚

THat's a great bit of online reading. Really well produced and lots of great photos. Good work!

I clicked on it more than half expecting it to be rubbish crammed with adverts.

Nice looking webmag. Just a quick browse, but I've just bookmarked it for regular perusal. Good work.

Just downloaded issue 9 and 10 and its a pretty smart mag. Better than spending money on Dirt or MBUK I guess. The photography is also top notch.

I also get a mention in issue 9, page 7. Although the pic is actually of my friend Sam.

Cant believe I finally made something of myself

Really enjoyed it - not my kind of riding but it's all part of two-wheeled life and they get it across really well. Far, far better than the last downloadable mag I saw. Loved the 'rain' photo on page 31/32; it must strike a chord with every UK mountain biker ๐Ÿ™‚

Like it, great pics. Didn't read a great deal but just picked the pieces I was interested in (Issue 10 - Alpine 160 & 5, Morzine, Whistler, Fort Bill, Peaty).

Text could do with being a couple of points larger for a laptop screen.

Keep up the good work, oh and a subscribe option is needed, I hate Facebook.

Slight hijack here, but an online friend of mine in the US is also publishing an online magazine called XXC that I think is really good.

Have a look at xxcmag.com

"Use the RSS feed" - RSS Feeds are useless without RSS software (which I can't use when mobile nor are available through our corporate standard Outlook 2003. I've tried using a specific RSS reader when at my desk (9-5 M-F excluding trips out, but I've got far too many other things to keep my eye on to remember to open it). Home life involves maintenance of a house, wife, child and 2 bikes so RSS Feeds slip down the list of priorities there too...).

How about an old fashioned email (when did emails become old fashioned?) with a link to download the latest mag? Nearly everyone has an email address and many of us begrudgingly work through it's content all day so why not make the most of a captive audience? By all means use Facebook and RSS but don't forget the basics.

Wide Open is ace. Jamie and the crew do a very good job on very limited resources.
