Still has stanchions and sliders.
In fairness though, if I had just bought a BMW x6 I would be looking at a bike like that to make the car look better and to show I wasn't completely lacking in taste.
It looks no worse than a Jones Spaceframe and that stupid looking truss fork.
I would love one of them.

The forks are still telescopic so they had fork boots for the same reason as any fork did back then
