Bearings at the bottom bracket pivot are dead, knocked one out and the other disintegrated.

Marked on the rubber seal is 15245f, thought this would be easy to find but I'm drawing a blank.

Bit loath to pay specialized stealer money if I don't have to so has anyone located a supplier at a reasonable price?

Try Kaesae on here (Katec bearings on EBay I think). I got bearings for my 2005 Stumpy from him for a reasonable price and they seem good

Try your local bearing factor. I did all 12 on my Enduro for sub 30 quid cash. Good bearings too!

+1 more for Kaesae. I was just looking for some bearings for a 2006 FSR when this thread came up. Went on Ebay and he has 2006 as well, ordered some, received them yesterday. Think he must have posted them before I knew I wanted them! Not fitted them yet but they look fine.
