Has anyone disassbled a sram xd cassette? Got pictures?

Can you prise off the biggest cog and it all comes apart?

I had a silly moment of snapping a couple of splines on the cassette locking tool interface.

Thankfully only snapped 2 teeth and still tighten and untighten the cassette just fine, but would rather replace the tightening mechanism inside if possible.

I took apart a worn out X01 11 speed cassette a while ago out of curiosity, the biggest cog can be levered off. I 'm pretty sure the centre locking tube can be removed when the biggest cog is off.

Some manufacturers make a kit to replace the largest (alloy) XO1 ย cog if it wears. Apart from the spline tube the rest appears to be machined from one piece.

Taken apart an xd cassette now, dont think it's possible.

Big aluminium cog removed but "lockring" is captured. You'd have to "retract" the splines to get it. Looking on cross-sections, there's chamfers on the leading edge of the splines, big old chamfer on the backside of the capturing surface, so the splines will get retracted whilst assembling, its the same action as a barb.
