Despite my best efforts in the classifieds etc I cant seem to find an 18" hardtail stumpjumper frame.

So what else is out there that is similar? a bargain would be ideal and for 26" wheels.

I'm really drawn to the Cotic Soul, but ideally want something a little racier/lighter.

You see lots of giant xtcs on here. You'd prob get a carbon one if you were prepared to throw a bit more cash at it.

Scandal is a very nice frame, I kind of ruined my whole scandal experience by trying to run it with a longer fork, but at 100mm it was lovely.

I've got an 18" merida matts lite frame I'm selling. It's brand new. Really light and very similar to a stumpjumper since merida own half of Specialized.

Drop me a mail if interested for pics and details.

Right now the Cotic Soul is reduced(green & orange colors): http://www.cotic.co.uk/product/soul

Can't think of a better and more versatile hardtail. Had my old Soul since 2004 and it's still going strong. Now building a new one, that will also be used as a rental bike.
