Sorry, worst question ever etc etc, but it seems every hardtail frame i look at (Genesis Ti, Yeti ARC, Tomac Cortez) has a bb height significantly lower than my Charge Duster (which seems to be about 350mm).
Am i measuring it wrong, or is it normal to be ploughing your pedals through the mud at ever pedal stroke?

Are you measuring off unsagged or sagged height?

Aha, that would make a big difference right there. Adjust for big old fat tyres and that 50mm suddenly isn't so much.
Do manufacturer's printed BB heights typically take sag into account?
(oh and thanks for responding to such a geeky question, whats the closest Shedfire equivalent to these frames? 8))
