Yeah, yeah - decking/fence etc...

Brakes need sorting, tyres swapping and invisiframe fitting, along with stealth grey/black fork, shock and wheel decals. Car park test very positive!

Decking looks like it'd be lethal in the wet

Very nice

I just fitted "stealth" decals from Slik Graphics to a set of Pikes, delighted with how they turned out. Would suit your bike, Id say

Hope you don't regret it, we looked at the YT and Canyon earlier this year for Abigales replacement but went with the Enduro again.

I don't think I will Tracey - the bike feels like it will be a blast, will just have to see how the quality holds up

Looks great! I do like a bit of stealth black.

When you say brakes need sorting, I guess you mean swapping!

Very nice indeed! Just a word of caution, learn to strip and lube the rear hub at least every month or two(if wet), strong, light good looking wheels , let down by utter gash rear seals.

Cheers all.

Yeah, I know - one mate had endless problems and another sold them as soon as he got the bike. I was going to do the same, but have decided to see how I get on with them.

Would be a shame not to give them a good try, scare all the wildlife/walkers with the great sounding freehub for a while at least!

Double nice. One nice for the very nice bike mister and another for it being an actual mountain bike and not a racer of some description 8) H2R

Loving my flexy seven year old bike.

YT Industries Capra CF Comp

170mm RS Lyrik
RS Monarch+
Reverb Stealth
E-Thirteen TRS+ wheels
SRAM X1
Raceface Turbine cranks
RF Atlas cockpit
Guide RS brakes

£2900 - not quite as good value as the Pro Race model with Fox and lots more carbon for a grand more, but still not bad VFM

That's very nice, I was so close to ordering my new frame in black 🙂

I still think it's a lot of bike for the money.

Oh and Tracey, the way Abigale flies on the Enduro, I wouldn't put her on anything else!

Of course the new bike gets to sleep in the house for it's first night in it's new home - them's the rules 😉

Want to change the HR II tyres, but I'll be buggered if I can even get the bead unseated, never mind get a tyre lever in

Bang tidy. Bet you pretended to watch TV last night whilst glancing at your bike every 2.3 seconds or so.

I had a set of the e13 TRS+ wheels, I'd jog them on now. The rear hub was a joke.

Didn't even pretend to watch TV, although as now, was 'supposed' to be working

Yeah, in two minds about what to do with the wheels

I have a set of TRS in the shed too, freshly serviced with new pawls, springs and seals

I've just got one in Red, the one with the carbon DT Swiss wheels and Fox suspenders.

Its currently sat in my front room waiting for me to put the Invisiframe kit on it before I take it out for a spin.

It looks way too nice to ride and may just end up as a piece of 3D art for some time yet.

I was originally going to get the model you've gone for, but in black, then it went out of stock, so was deliberating on the red. Then I had doubts about trusting myself with carbon rims. Also heard good things about the small bump compliance of the new Lyriks compared to the Fox 36's - also fancied some platform damping/climb switch on the forks shock - although the 36's are more adjustable and the X2 shock far better than the Monarch. Decided to save myself a grand and happy with my decision so far. As I was waiting for delivery the black Pro Race came back in stock after previously showing August.

Hoping my Invisiframe and stealth decals turn up today

It does look really nice. Properly lovely.

I can't help but miss the days of purple annodising though.

What size did you get then ?

I came back from a weekend in Afan and decided my XC bike needed more suspension, so looked on YT's site, Large in stock so I bought it.

The equivalent spec bike in the UK must be about £7k or £8k, it was a no brainer combined with the C2W scheme 🙂

I'm fitting my Invisiframe kit tonight, so will let you know how long it takes.

Hopefully its quick enough for me to ride on what looks like a dry and warm weekend.

Large - I'm a gnats under 6ft, but with daft long legs. I was worried the front end would be too low with the saddle up, as every other bike I've had I've ended up putting big risers on etc. This seems to fit me a beaut though - probably suited to my build, due to my short torso and the bikes relatively short front centre.

I'm guessing the people that moan about this bike being short have short legs/long torso. It's not a short bike by any means

I've heard they recommend you set 8hrs aside, but it seems 3-4hrs is the norm

It's short relative to some newer bikes, but not short versus the likes of the Enduro, etc.

I'm 5 foot 11, I tried several mediums out and they felt way too short.
