There are no silly questions, but could do with more context though.. What do you want from you next bike, that you current one doesn't give, want more travel, different wheel size, & where you gunna use it.
Bird Aeris, whyte t-129/130/150, Commencal META AM V4, spesh enduro.. Lots of great bike out there to suggest..

Thanks.I am looking for more sharpness/crispness. The nukeproof is excellent at sweeping fast singletrack, fast coarse descents but lacks a bit of chuckability between the dense wooded areas of my local forests. Inverness.
650 is fine,a little better stand over height would be nice too.

Full-sus 4x/slopestyle frame?

There'd be plenty of stand-over height too 🙂

A Capra? Fella was asking for sharper handling in twisty woods?

Not sure the Capra is right for this, although it's a great bike*

Op, if you plan to keep the bike perhaps something with less travel or slightly steeper angles?

If you're getting rid, perhaps one of those canyons with shapeshifter or similar geometry adjust bikes if you're looking for a bit more response when it's not so steep.

*v happy Capra owner.

In any event, move to 650b the trail comes alive!

Thanks all. I shall look at Capra. Also Canyon.
I have viewed rocky mountain altitude. The Cube Stereo 140 too.
They seem to tick some boxes for me.
Cheers.

Looked at the YT CAPRA. Looks a really good value bike.
Says only available from September though. SC 5010 ticks a fair few boxes.
I am now in a conundrum.
Would an orange 5 be an option?

Go test/demo some bikes if you can, you're not going to find what you're looking for on t'internet.

Hell of a gamble to drop £2-3k without throwing your leg over a few bikes 1st!

Thanks Jamesfts , I shall test a few. I live in Inverness. It'll mean a fair bit of travelling. Nearest santa cruz is closest, at Aviemore only 35 miles. Had a small spin on my current bike. Only on tarmac though.
great bike, poor standover, the only negative. That is the main driver for me changing.
cheers.
