the only other bike i can think of with a paint job like that is an RSP of a similar era. but i think it ws DH bikes and i think they had flames and boxxer forks.
Ha ha! Yeah, I spotted that in yesterday's Metro.
If he used paypal via Halfords to buy that bike and that helmet then he has either invented time travel or needs to look a whole lot less smug!
Edit: I thought that I could pick out the lettering for Marin on the downtube, but it doesn't look like a Marin paint job to me.
He appears to be quite a good looking chap, and as we all know all good looking chaps ride singlespeed.
Yet his bike clearly has gears.
Judging by his helmet, he bought it in 1992. Was Paypal around then?
