Can anyone give me a pointer towards the off piste trails in Gwydir please?
Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post it up on here.
Looked on Trailforks but it only seems to be the main trail thats on there.

I can't help but having watched Tom Caffreys video today it looks good. (I do struggle with all that Yoof speak/Tommy C tripe though)

Use Strava. Look near Betws and also Trefriw. Loads of segments on there for the non official stuff. Mostly steep tech stuff, and the odd cheeky footpath for midweek.
There's a lot of trail builders round there so plenty about.

One option...

From the car park head straight along the fire road. Follow it up to the lake. At the lake take the miners track to the left and head down (don't go off the edge). There is a right, a steep right, take that and follow the single track towards Betws. When you hit the (yellow) road go right and after about 2k take a right and head up into the woods.

FYI - Rally GB is using Gwydir forest tomorrow (Thursday), would avoid then and for at least a few days afterwards.
