[Closed] Grips- what to run with SRAM twisters.

Going back to my roots and about to fit some X0 twisters.

So what grips? I always used to run an almost full length grip but Lock Ons make cutting a cm or two off impossible.

My favourite grips were Onza Ules but always has slippage problems.
Also got on well with non lock on Yetis.

Any modern grips come up narrower than average (in terms of space taken up on the bar, not amount of cushioning)?

Cheers.

Get some non-lock on Oury's and cut them down and hairspray them on. Choice of colour and hairspray ๐Ÿ™‚

I used the Lizard Skin 3/4 grips. Perfect match, worked a treat.

By slippage on the Ules are you implying they rotate around the bar? If so, traditional hairspray.

I've not had any issues with mine (on my SS though) however my original set of Ules many years ago were used with Gripshift SRT-400s with no problems whatsoever. Great grips, my recent set came from either Leisure Lakes or Evans

Lizard skins do a short lock on. Basically with the cm or so taken out.

See here

I use them and they're great.

You could probably cut these down too. Lock on at one end only but doesn't cause my GF any problems.
