Ohhh, we did a lot of that ride last year, on a balmy late spring day. Just me n a mate, coffee shops and some horse riders. A very pleasant day out.

The area is stuffed with bridleways, though I think it would be very hard going in the wet, and I came away thinking the terrain, while pleasant was not very exciting. Ideal for beginners perhaps.

Exactly - or just a chilled out ride, almost follow your nose with lots of options/routes. It is not 'core however.
