I'm after the Thule 591 things for my car, can they only attach to Thule's own roof bars? I have a Picasso with the Citroen bars mounted.
Help would be appreciated

591's will attach to any Aero style bars as well as most square type bars, you get all the kit in the box to change between the two types.
I have Seat (Aero) roof bars with 2 591's, no problems, so you should be OK with the Citroen bars
591s fit my Seat (Leon) bars, and MrsSwadey's Skoda (Octavia) bars as well.
(Oh yeah, Octavia diesl estate, steel hardtail and riding a roadie sportif this weekend - I'm living the STW dream.....)
Awesome, thanks for the info, I got a bit worried when I saw a conversion kit for BMW bars up for sale.
I'm after a roof setup for going to the Dyfi next week.
Anybody know if the 591s are worth twice as much as the 530?
