I first rode this ride (number 58 Urzulei-San Giorgio-Codula Sa Mela on the Supramonte in Versante Sud guidebook, Mountain Bike Sardinia) in 2010 and since then the winter rains made a real mess of the descent. Now, thanks to the maintenance carried out by the Comune, it's rideable again. I/we would like more people to ride it, so that the descent and trail generally stays free of the biggest obstacles.

First single, good fun and not hard

Lovely muletrack in the Codula Sa Mela gorge. The pink flowers are peonies, only found in the wildest, least-disturbed places

Very nice switchbacks. If every rider moves a rock, it stays rideable. Yesterday we trundled a telly-sized block...
Thanks! Peter
