Asking for a friend, throwing it out to the hive mind to see if there is anything out there we’ve missed.  I’ve advised it’s a bad time to buy.

Medium sized and prefer hydro discs.  I have suggested the Pinnacle at £1350.

Well I haven't seen one in the flesh yet but the new Boardman ADV 8.9 looks a steal at £1000.
GRX 2x10 and hydro.

With that budget id look at 2nd on ebay local to you

That's what i did a couple of months ago and i got a Boardman ADV9.0 with Sram Rival Hydro groupset, wheels had been upgraded to Hope 20five wheels, Brooks Cambium saddle, Shimano M540 pedals, American King bottle cages plus a host of accessories

The bike was only 6 months old and cost £1600 as standard and i paid £800 with the upgrades

So its well worth checking out 2nd hand bargins

I have the Pinnacle at £1350. Great bike, tissue paper tyres.

In stock - unless Planet X maybe - will be the problem!

I'll be getting that new ADV 8.9 unless there are any other strong suggestions here.
