Looking at changing my 3.0 tyres for something narrower and more gravel biased if poss , any options for running on i45 rims ?
Something that rolls well on tarmac would help as well, as have a ride coming up with lots of tarmac between sections and dont fancy pushing 3 inch tyres up welsh roads

Not sure i'd want to go much narrower on 45mm rims
I've got Rocket Ron 2.8's on my i45's for the summer, not sure I'd want to go any narrower.
The FatBnimble is advertised as a 3.5 but is no wider than my 3.0 Nobby Nic. However, it is a lot lighter and faster rolling. Subject to tyre pressures it may be a good option.
Remember also that a skinnier tyre will drop your BB.
The "correct" option is, of course, a set of 29er wheels 🙂
