that's brilliant news ๐Ÿ™‚

maybe you can't say, but was it a student - can't imagine a bike thief on an awayday finding their way to the airfield?

I'm sorry to hi-jack this good news thread but I am astonished how often people assume that thieves and others that operate outside of the law are somehow intellectually inferior to your average hard working law abiding citizen..

The fact that these twunts have decided to work significantly less hours for much higher reward and can pick and choose the hours they work suggests that they may actually be the smarter cookies...

yunki - it was just that, given the distance from shoreham station to the airfield and the issue of gaining access it seemed more likely that someone had a reason to go there rather than just travelling from Portsmouth with a view to nicking a bike from a storeroom in a hanger at the airfield, really. Not trying to imply that bike thiefs are thick or 'owt.

Thanks goodness someone else picked that grammatical slip up... I was afraid that I would have to don the Grammar Nazi hat and mention something.

Good news on getting the bike back though. You don't live in an area served by sharia law do you? Might be worth a punt to try and encourage people not to steal in future...
