I'm going to get a co2 pump for my cx bike (tires 35 pressure 70-80)
so is a 12g (that will fill to 90psi be the best) or would a 16g canister with upto 130psi be best (as I'll have some extra in case I drop a bollox at a critical moment)?

I always use 16g cannisters. IME they'll never do 130psi in a 23c tyre (more like 90 or so), so more than enough to carry on as normal, but there's always some left in the canister when you disconnect it. I'd think 12g would be rather lacking.

cheers, tyre inflators are by far the cheapest - but out of stock - are they good to buy from?

I've always bought mine from tyre inflators but since going the stans way I can't remember the last time I used one!
