Currently 1 x 9 so will need shifter, mech, cassette and chain.....

Thinking XT or X9 - any good deals out there or better suggestions for the kit??? Best value (eg price!) is the key!

Rose bikes for XT - 11-36 10sp cass, med shadow XT 10sp mech + XT 10sp chain = £99 inc shipping (after £10 facebook disc code).
That is approx £35 cheaper than in UK.

CRC for rear 10Sp XT shifter = £32

So about £130 for 1x10 XT upgrade.

Maybe cheaper elsewhere?

Is the Facebook discount still available? I looked and couldn't see anything, anybody got a link please? I've got £280 of 10sp stuff in my basket and was about to pull the trigger.

I'm not on Facebook but if the wife or a mate registers from their facebook can i use their voucher code?

Ta.

Yes still available did mine this morning. Not linked to email address - so will work on any Rose account - code is unique so can only be used once. Plus it seems to let you only use one Facebook voucher per Rose account (just make an new Rose account in partner/spouse name for another discount code).

On FB - find "Rosebikes" - click like > then go to vouchers on the left > then generate code > allow Rose app access > code should appear.

One tip with Rose is to make sure you select the correct payment method before submitting the order (default seems to be bank transfer).
