I'm going 1 x but would like to know what chainring bolts you've used?

My cranks are Shimano LX HTII and the ring is a Middleburn "middle" ring, the type with the indents round the bolt holes for the nut end to sit in so its flush.

Do i need extra short ones and if so where from?

Thank you.

I contacted the ebay seller of these as I had the exact same query and he told me they should work. I've ordered some and received them very quickly but have yet to try them so not sure if they are actually the right size. Quite a good price unless they don't fit or are made of cheese.

I use the Brand=X ones from CRC on three bikes, no issues.

They feel like they're made of plastic, mind.
