Noticed Cognation / Back on Track are asking for help identifying MX riders screwing up the new MTB trails:
Eyes and ears on the ground please people; we're working hard to compete the remaining Cognation mountain bike trails at Margam park, Glyncorrwg and Cwmcarn, working with the various trail crews. Unfortunately mx bikes have been using the freshly built trails in Cwmcarn and Glyncorrwg and tearing sections up before anyone gets a chance to even set eyes on them on a mtb!Approx 3km of the new xc trail was repeatedly ridden last weekend by a group of mx bikes in Cwmcarn. It's pretty demoralising for the trail crews and all involved in these projects. If it continues it will likely cause delays to the trails opening and reduce funds spent on maintaining the rest of the trails.
If you know of anyone using the trails please report it, if you encounter a rider, take down their number plate and call 101 to report the incident. The police are carrying out an operation in the forest to hopefully alleviate the problem so that the trails can open soon in the new year. Thank you

Yeah, having to go back over 3km of trail will eat into the budget, which could result in less trail being built. It's bad enough when people ride mtbs on unfinished sections.
