What's the chances of it being clear/reasonable riding by this Saturday?

Mainly Red and Blue.

Give me a 1-10.

Im planning a possible trip with some new riders.

Most of it was rideable on Sunday with the exception of spooky woods, i reckon it will be another couple of weeks before spooky will be clear of snow/ice.

Agree with Liftman, we pushed to just below Spooky Wood.

Well worth going, the rest of the run was great!

I will post up-to-date conditions re: Spooky Wood on Thursday, from our Wednesday night ride, but at the moment lots of red/blue trails rideable, as above.

It's been a couple of months since spooky wood was really worth riding, it's been passable but it's just a bit pointless if you're not able to cane it. Save your energy and do falla brae twice or mushroom pie 50 times or similiar, much better use of time and muscle IMO.

On sunday, from Hitsquad Hill down could be ridden pretty much as normal, wee localised bits of snow was all. We didn't bother with Super G, confident it'd be rideable but not worth the hassle. But it's had a few more days of relative warmth now.

Oh, also the forestry op closure on the red/black is back in place diverting all traffic via pie run, which is a bit of a shame, though Pie Run is fantastic.
