Good news, down there today and apart from very small areas of ice it is 100% rideable. The part about 200m down spooky is by far the dodgiest since all other areas are mainly on the climbs. Was riding fast as well

Yes I went for a spin today is quite slushy, esp compared to sunday when was kind of freeze dried - was very lucky to stay on two wheels at that spot on spooky woods you mention. Just kind of let go of everything and hoped !

I ended up in the undergrowth after getting too cocky and launching off the two wee drops at speed (I assume this is the bit you mean) then having a bit of a 'moment' when I realised I was landing on sheet ice on a corner at speed. Still, I came to rest nicely in the bushes.

I stood at that dodgy point today to warn a big stream of riders - 2 took no notice - one survived - one ended up on his arse 🙄
