You can still ride @ mugdock park, if you park at the visitor centre and cross the moor to woods the trails in the actual woods are very rideable, dont get me wrong its not gonna be an epic ride just two or three loops in the woods but it keeps the legs spinning, you can maybe get an hour and half or so , better than nothing ๐Ÿ™‚

what he said....., but it is pretty crap and the chances of getting caught out if icy stuff catches you unawares are waay high.

GMBC ride last night (usual Wed has 7 plus)..... zero riders - maybe we are wimps, but in reality most of us have ridden on and off last week or 2 and had some nasty stacks - just not worth it for now.

Top Moor is still ok, but linking up rideable stuff is nigh impossible for a decent ride at the mo.

dancingfool, how bad was CV? Was it just ice, or ice and snow? I was going to head out for a wee night ride before the celebrations tomorrow eve..

i treid to head out to mugdock today, was solid with ice, cycled in from the milngavie end, it was horrible, i ended up bailing out on to the roads, cycle out for a bit then cycled back home through the city centre, just to get some miles in, mugdock will take another wee while to thaw by the looks of it.
