Trying to decide whether to take CX or road bike for when we stay near Gisburn in a few weeks. We normally do more road riding but if there is the option of hiring a MTB of some description at Gisburn it might make the decision to take road bike rather than CX. Agonising stuff I am sure you will agree ๐Ÿ˜‰

There's no bike hire at Gisburn, there's no shop, just a small cafe and a new toilet block which is nice.

Three peaks cycles in Settle told me they delivered hire bikes to the forest - that was a couple of years ago, and I can't see it on their website, but if you're stuck, give them a buzz.
