I haven't been to Gisburn since the cafe opened. Does anyone know if there are any bike wash facilities? I fancy getting the train over, but it would be good to get the worst off before getting back on the train.
Or at Tosside/Long Preston?

No facilities that I know of. Don't worry about it too much. They're not that fussed on the train. Gisburn muck is not that bad, it's not like proper south Dales slurry. You could always dip it in the stream at the bottom of the first descent.
Make sure you check which trains stop at Long Preston and which don't, BTW. Don't ask me how I know this. 😳
I suspected as much. That service that they call the "bone rattler" from Morecambe couldn't get any dirtier from memory.
