I've taken apart the maestro suspension to change some bearings. When I put the bike back together the pivot at the top of the rear triangle / with the rocker isn't separated by anything. When I look at the 2012 trance in the shop it looks as though there is something separating the rocker and frame at that pivot point. Does anyone on here have a Trance X 2011? I phoned Giant and they said there should be something in-between the rocker and the frame at that point. I could swear there wasn't when I took it apart though! I thought about using the inner race of a pair of seized bearings as a bit of a spacer but finding it difficult to take a bearing apart.

Thanks

Thanks for the link but that thread appears to be for an anthem X frame.

Turns out washers go at the top of the rear triangle but NOT for the rocker on the seatube downtube. Sorted
