Im in the market for a new road bike.. looking at either of the above. now the composite has the better frame but tiagra spec and the defy 1 is 105 spec and alu frame... my last bike had tiagra and i didnt have a problem with it.. just wondering if anyone has had first hand experience with either of, or both of these bikes.? 😕
Tiagra is 10 speed now so you can always upgrade as stuff wears out (it's an excuse) so I'd go with the plastic one.
just had a ride on a defy 1 and loved the geometry.. browsing the internet and spotted this.. never used sram apex kit before but seems like a great spec for only £100 more than a 2013 defy 1.. any peeps got one or could tell me how the apex kit is?
