You guys were very helpful in my last eBay scouring thread here: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/231047601266?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1426.l2648 (they went for 65 quid in the end, which would have been a great price if they were 26" and a terrible price if they were 24").
Can any of you guys take a guess at what year/exact model this bike is? It looks like a Giant XTC but the photos are so rubbish it's hard to tell. I've asked the seller a question but he hasn't responded so...

2005'ish XTC with Axels. I had a couple of giants about then, they had Scarebs
Bloody hell that's uncanny. It is indeed a 2005! Spent an hour googling pics right back to 2000 last night and couldn't see any relevant hits! Thank you very much!
The frame looks identical to my 2006 Xtc, though a different colour scheme. I still ride mine and it's been a great bike.
