It's happened twice to me and I'm confused. Theyre the only punctures I've had in 2 years.
First time this happened I was bringing 2 bikes and one punctured on a 50 mile trip. I had checked both over before the trip - tyres hadnt gone down since last used. But when we arrived one front was flat.
Didnt think much of it at the time but yesterday was bringing the 2 bikes back on a 200 mile round trip (again checked before we left). We hadnt even got to use them on the trip - but again a puncture. Rear this time . There was a small sidewall leak - maybe the size of pin head - near but not at where the wheel strap was. A stans shake sorted both.
So anyone getting the same problem? Could I doing anything wrong - wheel straps too tight / loose? BTW carries are Thule 591.
