A friend is planning to take his wife and bikes to the south coast for a weekend. Does anyone know any websites where he can download or buy route cards etc??????

Poole is not in Devon!
But the STW southern shandy drinkers are doing a tour of the Purbeck hills on the 25th - I'm sure they'd give you a copy of the route.

if it is poole, the castleman trailway is good gentle biking from poole to wimbourne and you can cycle from sandbanks to bournemouth along the prom at this time of year

- go along seafront prom, Poole - Bmouth (and round Hengistbury - slightly naughty), cafes on prom, go early or too many walkers etc, 7am sun and brekkie, I did it with gf and enjoyed it

over Ferry and on tracks N of coast road in forest, see wareham cycleway etc

Go to Brockenhurst and do railway line etc (yes it's not poole) but is gentle mtbing.

Routes that centre round Corfe (are hilly but not that technical).

Bit of a drive back but alot of folks from Poole / Bournemouth go to Puddletown near Dorchester.
See these websites for details:
