Being reet lazy with this ...... ๐Ÿ˜ณ

About to build up an IO with a set of Recon solo air forks set at 120mm travel.

I could adjust them to 100mm but I am being lazy and I have only just tripped them.

The frame looks well enough built to take the extra 20mm but I guess geometry will be a bit "out".

Anyone else run a longer fork on their IO or IO ID?

I had a Reba U-Turn on my iO and ran it at 100mm. Anything about that felt too high and slack for me. Your results may vary.

Dependent on model year I believe Genesis say you can run up to 130mm (Think that was as of last year) - before that I think they were warrantied for 120mm, should be in your owners manual/Genesis site. It'll slacken your head and seat angle by a degree, so descending will be easier, climbing wondereyer..
If you drop the stem that'll compensate for the 20mm rising of the handlebars from the longer fork.

My IOID came with a 100 mm fork as standard and I cannot image 20 mm unsagged more will really be that significant

Cheers all.

Frame is way out of warranty.

Might give it a go.
