I don't know the answer so thought I'd ask on here.
Can I use a mtb mech in conjuction with a campag road cassette? If so will I need to change my chain also and then if I do will that work ok with a XT chainset?

What shifters, mech and cassette? Brand and no. of gears.

currently running Full XT 30spd, looking at possibly getting hope pro 3 road rear wheelsecond hand but it comes with a campag freehub. It's for a cyclocross/commuter build.

Just change the hub body it's very easy to do on a hope hub
I'd think the cog spacing is differant on campy to shimano but I have never tried mixing the two with 10 speed
