Hi,

Just purchased a frame on ebay, just wondering if anybody knows what Bottom Bracket I need? Also, can any cranks be used? There does not seem to be a gary fisher website and Trek provides very limited info, are there any other resources?

Thanks Neil

Looking at this any crank set can be used...go for an xt or slx.

If it is threaded, which it almost certainly is, then it will have a standard English thread bottom bracket. Measure the width of the BB tube., It should be either 68 or 73mm. If so you can use any HTII type BB

Ok, sounds easy enough, know for sure its threaded, so now just have to get the tape measure out ๐Ÿ™‚

Ok measured at 68mm, and have crankset in my hands, so assume now its 2 spacers on the drive side, and one on other side?
