SO FAR................................
Old tire had blow out 100m from home after picking up the new ones, i'm feeling lucky at this point.
No repair kits anywhere to be found so im dismantling the old fixie project for tubes (lucky I didnt sell it!)
One of the valve lockrings is siezed, spend 3 hours looking for a pair of pliers to perswade it off.
Get tube out.
Fit tube.
Decide to put new canti pads in.
Spend an hour cursing the inventor of canti brakes and now understand the maintnance free appeal of disk brakes on touring bikes.
Start on the rear wheel.
Valve stem snaps off the tube whist inflating it for the fist time.
Get the second tube out of the fixie project.
Aproaching 80psi the tire blows up somewhere near my right ear. I've now got a tinging right ear, and my eyes and nose itch after being filled with the talk/mould/git thats had accumulated inside the aincient tube.

3 hours looking for a pair of pliers - that could be a world record.
Just moved house, and all my tools are at my parents house. Eventualy found a pair in a box with my housemates drill.
No riding tomorow now,
The LBS is closed so no tubes ๐
Decided to swap the park tires for dirt ones on the BMX, then realised my handpump wont fit between the spokes, so it now has nobly tires but both flat.
The mountainbike needs a new BB, but the tool is at my parents ๐
