[Closed] Garmin Oregon 700 powering down on WIFI

I previously had my my Garmin Oregon 700 connected to my home WiFi without issue (straight out of the box), now however the instant I try to connect to a WiFi network the Oregon turns off.

I don't seem able to find a solution on the 'net and was wondering whether anyone else had experienced this.

I've had a single issue of the Oregon powering down in use (with a good charge) but this may be unrelated. I'm using the most recent (v. 4.0) firmware.

It has been suggested that a factory reset may help so I may try this if I can't resolve the situation in another way.
