Hi everyone,
I'm thinking of purchasing a garmin edge 810 for mountain biking in the Peak District, and was wondering if anyone has any hands on experience with one? The other thing I thought about getting instead was a garmin fenix 2 watch, so any info on either would be great.
Cheers

810 will be better than the watch for mountain biking.

i use a forerunner watch on the bike (it was bought for running). It's fine for tracking routes but for anything else a bike computer would be far better. it would also save strava from complaining every time I upload a ride because they default to runs

Cheers guys,
That review is great, very detailed.
I now know deep down which would be more useful but I have a bit of a thing for watches.
Both look good, but I think the 810 would make planning a ride anywhere a doddle.
