I currently have an Edge 500 with the associated accessories but am finding I'm increasingly in need of full maps rather than the breadcrumb trail.
With the special offer for "platinum" users on wiggle, I can get either a 800 with 1:50k OS maps or a bog standard 810 for the same price. The recent post on here from the chap with open-source OS-style maps would mean the OS maps with the 800 don't hold the allure they did previously, so its effectively a choice on features.
Any opinions on either unit? Ideally from people that have used/use both...
The 810 has bluetooth which is ace and enables the livetracking feature - when it works
Lots of bug issues and moans here:

The 800 doesnt seem to have the same, if any, firmware groans
Do you want/need Livetrack?
I ride alone a lot and when it works its pretty sweet
