Is there a way to have directional arrows on the course line on the Garmin Edge 1000. I tried to follow the course for a race next month which crosses/comes to the same points from several directions and it was impossible to know which way I was supposed to go. Thanks.
Not that I've ever found and it's really annoying when doing loops in a small area.
My solutions have been:
-Have a virtual partner that you can follow. Works ok if you get the speed right.
-Use course points that say Turn Left, Turn Right, Straight or sequential numbers.
-Print off a map and draw arrows on it with a biro to check against.
Not sure if it will help but I updated my 530 to latest firmware and maps and there was direction arrows on the route that I am 90% sure weren't there before. So not sure if was a map, firmware version or device feature.
