what settings do you use for navigation on the 1000?
just tried a few 'round trip routing' road rides and its picked some odd routes, trying to send me over helvellyn on a bridleway on one of them!
Should i use 'tour cycling' or 'road cycling', and 'lock on road' on or off?

I use track up
off road I use avoid highways and off road setting
I did use the round routing once in Dorset for a road ride. I set the climbing to 200m and distance to 45k and I had to turn back on lock on road.
It set 3 routes up for me varying in length and height gained, I chose the middle one
Sent me down some lovely little lanes that I would of never of chosen
